Mindfulness is an intervention/skill tested and proven over time, that facilitates positive personal growth, self-awareness and empowers the individual with the ability to facilitate their own change. It can serve to foster positive mental health, allowing the individual to make considered decisions during times of pressure, crisis, anxiety and/or stress.
Using mindfulness, we can build up the neuro connections – pathways within the brain. We can also weaken unhelpful neuro pathways which are reactionary and unhelpful.
